“The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.” (Ps28:7) I counted about 20 times in the Book of Psalms where David calls our God, his STRENGTH. I am thankful “The LORD is my strength.” I’ve found, when my heart trusted and rejoiced, I couldn’t help but “praise Him.” Are you rejoicing? Are you praising Him? If not, perhaps you are not trusting, in Him, as you should.
Please pardon my tardiness in sending out this update. It was purposely delayed until some medical results came in from tests I’ve had recently. Praise the Lord all test came back clean. The doctor seems to believe I’ll live until I die.
If you read our last update, you read a long list of developments we believe confirm our Lord’s leading for our lives. He continues to develop and present more opportunities weekly. The Cessna 206 project is progressing. I will be traveling to perform an annual inspection on another missionary’s airplane in July. There was a possibility of working with Operation Renewed Hope on a project, but it looks like that one will be delayed. I just finished the inspection and repaired on a Cherokee 6 which flies evangelist, Byron Foxx, to meetings. Next up is the inspection of our ministry plane.
It’s hard to overstate the amount work that can be accomplished by having extra hands join in the Lord’s work. I’m pleased to announce our Lord has led Brother Chris Holaday and his family to come along side us in the effort to “Promote a high view of God through our aviation ministry.” Brother Holaday is retiring from the US Army by the end of the year. The experience he has gained as a military pilot, will be used in the Lord’s Airforce, training missionary pilots, supporting church planting, disaster relief, and scores of other opportunities our Lord sends our way. It’s exciting to imagine the possibilities. I know of no IB mission organization that offers helicopter training. Please pray for this family. They have been accepted by Baptist Missions to Forgotten Peoples, and are raising support now. Next update, I’ll introduce you to another family who intends on joining us here at MAC. These are answers to your prayers on our behalf. Thank you!
The Lord has also blessed as I update churches and individuals on our ministry and encourage local soul winning. God has blessed us with a great support team. Please contact me if you would like an update or messages emphasizing missions philosophy.
On family matters, thank you for praying for Lynn’s health. She finally has a primary doctor, after 8 months of trying. She had pneumonia for several weeks, but is now doing much better. JD is completing his Level I welding course soon and is scheduled to start Level II at the local community college. He is praying for a better job.
It’s hard to put into words how grateful we are for your patience during this transition. I believe Mission Air Care will soon be accomplishing more for mission aviation then we ever have before. And you are making it possible with your prayers and support.
