Praise & Prayer Request

Friday, August 28th was a special day. It was the culmination of a work that God started over two years ago. Two years ago, we were in the village of Savoonga on St. Lawrence Island with a team to distribute Bibles and hold revival services. God later called from that team, Bro. Smith and his family to this village, he raised his support, and Friday, we flew his family back to Savoonga to start their new life. This village is 600 air miles from Fairbanks, but only a few miles from Siberia, Russia!

Please pray for Earl's mom. Saturday, Earl drove solo the 3.5 hours to Manley Hot Springs for visitation and to hold church service on Sunday. While he was visiting, someone tracked him down and told him to call Lynn immediately. Mom had gotten sick and was bleeding heavily in her stomach. The doctors were not optimistic and started asking Lynn tough, "end of life" questions. Earl got back in the truck and drove back to Fairbanks, arriving near midnight. (PTL no flat tires or "near-mooses") Remember, this is a small village runway that is a little short for the larger airplane.

The bleeding stopped but they can't find the source. She's in ICU today, Sunday the 30th. Please pray that they will find the problem and solve it. Mom has had a tough year physically and emotionally. She says she just wants to feel good for a while.
